General Terms and Conditions

1. introduction
To ensure that our business relationship with you as a customer is a satisfactory one and that we all have a binding basis, we have drawn up the following General Terms and Conditions.
They apply when you make a purchase in our store at world-of-louis-xiv.com and nothing to the contrary has been agreed in writing.

2. offer
We only sell our alcohol-containing goods to you if you confirm to us when placing your order that you are at least 18 years old and capable of acting.
Our offers are made in German and are non-binding. Our illustrations and descriptions of the goods are not the goods themselves, which is why optical deviations and possible errors between the picture and the original are possible.

3rd order
We assume that you as a customer provide your details truthfully when ordering. Your orders are stored by us after conclusion of the contract. If you lose the documents relating to your orders, please contact customer service.

We will be happy to send you a copy of your order.
Our data protection guidelines apply to the storage of personal data.

How to order in our world-of-louis-xiv.com webshop:

• Search for the desired item and select the quantity you require and simply click to add the item to your shopping cart without obligation.
• You can see the contents of your shopping cart by clicking on the “shopping cart symbol” at the top right. You can delete items or change the desired quantity in the shopping cart.
• Click on “Checkout” to proceed to the order process / checkout.
• First enter your billing address here.
• If you wish delivery to a different address, please enter a delivery address.
• Under “Your order”, please indicate when you would like to collect the goods in Oensingen, whether you would like to purchase on account or whether you would like to pay for the goods immediately by credit card.
• We grant a discount of 3% for collection and cash payment
• Click on “Send order” to send your order to Louis XIV AG. In doing so, you are offering us the conclusion of a purchase contract. You submit a binding offer when you have gone through the order process by entering the information requested there and click on the “Send order” button in the last section.
• After clicking on “Send order” you will see an overview of your order. After you have sent your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and listing its details. The purchase contract is concluded when the items you have ordered are sent to you. The prices at the time of ordering apply.

4. right of Louis XIV AG to withdraw from the contract
Each order will be confirmed electronically. If we have any doubts about your order (e.g. age, ability to pay, etc.), we reserve the right to refuse delivery of the goods until this uncertainty has been resolved. We shall raise our objections within seven days of electronic confirmation of receipt of the order.

5. delivery and transportation costs
The delivery time is normally less than 5 working days, but can exceptionally take up to two weeks. We will inform you immediately in the event of delays in delivery. The delivery address must be in Switzerland or Lichtenstein. Please refer to the same list for the shipping costs. Please call us if you need the goods immediately: We will be happy to organize express transport for an additional charge.

6. terms of payment
The goods are delivered in Switzerland and Liechtenstein against invoice.
The invoice is payable on the due date stated, but no later than 10 days after receipt of the goods (due date). In the event of late payment, collection and reminder costs of up to CHF 25.00 and interest on arrears will be charged.

6.1 Payment options
The following means of payment can be used: Cash on collection, against invoice, with VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS.

7. revocation instruction
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

7.1 Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us at the following address:

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail).

If you make use of this option, we will send you a confirmation of receipt of such a revocation without delay (e.g. by e-mail).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

7.2 Consequences of revocation
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this repayment.

We may refuse to refund you until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case within fourteen days at the latest from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.

8. additional warranty and liability for defects
Even after expiry of the period in accordance with section 7, you have the right to return the goods in their original condition at any time within the recommended storage period without giving reasons if you are not satisfied with them. The purchase price will be refunded to you (without interest). The addresses listed in section 7 also apply. Information on liability for defects: The statutory liability for defects applies.

9. should problems arise between us
It is usually possible to resolve any differences of opinion by mutual agreement. Simply contact customer service by email at info@louisxivag.ch or by telephone on 062 226 75 75. However, if we are unable to reach an agreement, we will be happy to conduct a conciliation procedure before a recognized consumer arbitration board free of charge for the customer.

10. no entitlement to use
The Louis XIV websites may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or other reasons beyond our control. Such a situation does not give rise to any claims against Louis XIV AG.

11 Liability of Louis XIV AG
As a customer, you are very important to us, but we too are only human. If we or our goods cause you damage due to our grossly negligent or intentional behavior, we will bear this damage. Our liability is otherwise excluded to the extent permitted by law.

12. final provisions
If we are unable to find an out-of-court solution to a problem, the court at the domicile or registered office of one of the parties shall decide.
The court at your place of residence has jurisdiction for legal action brought against you by Louis XIV.
If you are a legal entity or if your purchase of goods is for professional or commercial purposes, the exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of Louis XIV AG.

Should one of the aforementioned provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected (severability clause).
